Created in 1985, Cherry Lake Tree Farm has grown to be 1,725 acres of
ornamental tree, shrub, and palm production.

Ornamental Trees:
Since its inception, Cherry Lake Tree Farm has produced containerized, root-enhanced, ornamental trees. Trees are our roots, and roots are our focus. Through our 25 years we have researched, developed, and implemented the leading practices in horticulture and root-manipulation in order to grow trees that not only look good, but also have the maximum performance after transplant. Our product line of trees include multiple varieties and cultivars of oaks, hollies, crape myrtles, maples, bald cypress, and other specialty trees from 7-gallon size to the majestic 670-gallon size. Our tree production is centralized in Groveland, Florida, with a satellite location in Lake Wales, Florida.

Shrubs:
Our shrub production has been growing, as our customers are demanding a more quality, one-stop shop for their landscape projects. Grown on our main farm in Groveland, our shrub product line includes all of the prominent shrubs speced on premier projects in Florida, and the Southeast United States. Our shrub line is grown in 1-gallon, 3-gallon, and 7-gallon sizes and includes multiple varieties and cultivars of liriope, lantana, parsoni, viburnum, Knock-Out Roses, grasses, and hawthorne. |
Palms:
Cherry Lake has over 624 acres dedicated to palm production in St. Lucie County (East Coast) and another 80 acres in Manatee County (West Coast). Our palms are grown with the same horticultural and quality attention as our trees and shrubs, making for vibrant heads and thick calipers on our Washingtonias, Sylvesters, Pindos, Windmills, Chinese Fan Palms, Roebellinis, and other varieties.

Cherry Select:
For trees, shrubs, and palms that we cannot grow on our 1,765 acres, we have privileged and unique relationships with quality growers around the Southeast United States in order to provide a total plant solution to our preferred customers. Our Cherry Select division offers our customers an endless pallet of trees, shrubs, and plams while saving them valueable time and money on their purchasing activities. This additional product line comes with the quality assurance that the products are inspected by us and meet the highest standards of Cherry Lake Tree Farm. |
