Landscape Installation Foreman (2 Openings)
Location: Groveland, FL
Division: LegacyScapes
LegacyScapes a division of CLTF is seeking an experienced Landscape Installation Foreman. Duties include installation of softscape and hardscape, bed layouts, equipment operation and crew oversight. CDL Class A with airbrakes required and clean MVR. 3 years experience in landscape installation and 2 plus years in supervisory role. Able to understand and read blueprints. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Assistant Purchaser
Location : Groveland, FL
Department: Outsourcing
This is an exciting position that entails working with both Purchasing and Sales. Ideal candidate should have a 4-year degree in the horticulture or business field, will be a self-starter and business-minded with good negotiation and communication skills. Assistant Purchaser will assist Outsourcing Manager with purchasing activities for our Outsourcing and LegacyScapes including scouting nurseries, tagging materials, quality control, develop proposals, locate materials, coordinate deliveries and logistics, order entry and all other purchasing activities. Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing of plant materials. Must have working horticulture knowledge of plant tree identification by species, specification and size requirements. Bachelor degree in horticulture or business preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license required.
Quality Control Inspector
Location: Groveland, FL
Department: LegacyScapes
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for quality control, training and process documentation for our LegacyScapes division. Document landscape and irrigation installation process. Train workforce on processes, installation best practices, horticulture and other critical skills. Monitor and audit active and completed construction projects to ensure they are being properly built and maintained. Develop and coordinate a safety program, maintain safety records, manual and compliance requirements. Coordinate certifications and renewals. 5 years experience in landscape or construction industry, preferably in quality control and construction administration. Bachelors degree required. Six Sigma training a plus. Spanish language skills a plus. Valid Florida driver’s license required.
Driver Over-the-Road
Location: Groveland, FL
Department: Shipping
Experienced CDL driver to transport and deliver material to CLTF customers. Primary service market will be GA, SC and NC; however other routes may be required form time to time. Assists with loading and unloading of truck material and coordinate shelving. Maintains government required logs. Check quantities of goods received and obtain proper signature for deliveries. Determine own routing or follow prescribed schedule. Must hold a valid CDL license and has a minimum of five years over-the –road experience. Possesses knowledge of weight laws, safety regulations, and other federal regulations.
General Laborers (Farm)

Department: Production
Cherry Lake Tree Farm is currently accepting applications for various farm positions. Qualified applicants can earn up to $10.00 per hour. Experience & Qualifications include:
- Significant nursery or tree farm experience required.
- Knowledge of corrective pruning techniques
- Greenhouse propagation experience
- Tree planting or shifting experience
- Experience operating Ag equipment such as tractors; gas powered shears, etc...
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Workers will work in hot, cold, and sometimes wet conditions, according to the weather.

The chosen candidate will have the ability to generate qualified leads, track multiple high value projects, make professional presentations to high level decision makers, review estimates and proposals, and negotiate final contract.. The desired candidate will have 5-10 years solid sales experience directly in the construction industry. An assertive, self-starting work style with a high degree of empathy and flexibility is needed along with impeccable organizational skills. Horticulture experience is highly desired but not required. Cherry Lake Tree Farm, a 1,000 acre containerized tree farm in Florida, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative. Responsibilities of this position include selling trees to Landscape Architects, Landscape Contractors and Developers. Horticulture Sales Experience Preferred. Salary plus commission. Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or closely related field preferred with one or more years in a sales or sales support function. Customer oriented, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, effective communication skills and must enjoy a fast pace environment. Position may require some traveling and individual must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
